These video clips highlight the Power Fitness For Youth (PFFY) program. PFFY is a nine-week fitness and character development program for 7th and 8th grade students, presented by Americans For a Better Tomorrow (AFBT). This program not only helps kids to stay in good physical condition, but it helps them to build character by learning respect for authority, leadership skills, and how to say “NO” to drugs, gangs, alcohol, tobacco and sex before marriage. The curriculum is approved by the Roosevelt School District and has been taught in eight schools. Students participate in fitness weight circuit training and aerobics, as well as classroom instruction from the Power Fitness For Youth curriculum. This originally aired on and was produced by KNXV-TV 15 the Phoenix area ABC affiliate. It was shown on their evening news.
