But deep inside, when you look in their eyes, you see self-respect beginning to blossom, which in turn develops respect for others! You see a flicker of hope. A seed of thought "maybe I really can amount to something". When you put a child first, you put the future first.

Who we are:
Since 1990, Americans For A Better Tomorrow (AFBT) has worked with thousands of youth through our various programs. Together with partners like City of Phoenix Fightback, APS, Arizona Builders Alliance, local organizations, businesses, and caring individuals like you, along with collaborative partners like the Roosevelt School District, Make A Difference Foundation, KABOOM Playgrounds, and other organizations, we serve as a catalyst for change  We've been helping kids learn respect for authority, leadership skills, physical conditioning and how to say "no" to drugs, gangs, alcohol, tobacco and sex before marriage, as well as helping give youth opportunities to develop social and physical skills.
